The new way to make high quality calls easily, safely, and inexpensively! FirstContact prepaid charge and calling cards can be used in two different ways.
Used as recharge cards
If you already already are a FirstContact Mobile customer or have a FirstContact QuickCall account then you can use these cards to top up your account balance. You can redeem the codes either on the website after you login, using the ‘Recharge account’ feature found in the App, sending the recharge code by SMS to +32 488 70 20 20, or by calling one of the recharge access numbers with a phone associated with your account.
FirstContact Mobile users can also redeem the cards by dialing *225*[RECHARGE CODE]# from their mobile. (Example: if the recharge code is 123456789012 then dial *225*123456789012# to top up your account). You will receive a confirmation SMS once the balance has been updated.
Used as calling cards
The cards can be used as classic calling cards – just dial the access number shown on the card to get started!
There are no hidden costs or administrative fees, and you can recharge your existing account thus you won’t lose any balance.
When you call in for the first time you get to pick your language, and if your number wasn’t recognized you’ll be asked if you wish to save it on your account. Saving your phone number makes calling easier as after that you no longer need to type the PIN to call.
We have many advanced features available which make the service easier to use even from fixed phone or a simple mobile phone. You can read more information about the features below.
Make calling easier with our Apps!
Do you have a smartphone? If your phone is an Android or iOS device you can download our App which will make using our service even easier. You can dial directly from your telephones addressbook, using any of the diffenrent calling methods that we support (VoIP, two-stage, or callback). The App will also display your balance and last call information when you are online. And you get free calls to other users who are connected online with our App when you call them using SIP (VoIP). Just search for ‘FirstContact’ (no spaces) in the App Store or Play Store to get started! You can use the PIN from the card to register the App.
Just press the star (*) to end your call and you’ll be asked to enter a new phone number to call. You can enter a full number, a speed dial number (see below), or just ‘0#’ to redial the last number.
Speed dial codes
These can be used with all our services (even VoIP).
They can be configured via our web site. Just login to your account at https://quickcall.firstcontact.be using your username and password. Then select ‘Services’ and then ‘Destinations’ from the smaller menu buttons.
The speed dial entries are the ones listed as ‘1#’ up to ‘9#’ (or ’19#’ if you have the extended list selected).
Just enter the numbers you wish to link to each speed dial entry next to them. You can also add an optional name to help you remember who the number is for. Then press ‘Save’ when ready.
When calling just enter ‘1#’ (or one of your other defined codes) add the destination number.
Callback makes it possible for you to benefit from our advantageous rates and enjoy the great quality even if you can’t use VoIP or can’t use the local access numbers for free. You need to have your phone number registered with your account to use the service but then using the callback service is very easy. Just call the callback access number (+3225884482) – the call won’t be answered so you won’t get billed for this call – then wait a moment and you will receive a call from us, when you hear the dialtone just enter the number you wish to call as usual. You can also use the speed dial codes (mentioned above) to make calling your favorite numbers easier and quicker.
Direct dial numbers
Direct dial numbers allow you to map a phone number to a destination. To call the destination you just call the local number you mapped to the given destination and you’ll be connected directly. You do not need to enter a PIN or type the destination number again. You can even program these local numbers directly into your phone’s addressbook. These numbers can be configured in the same place as the speed dial codes: login to your account at https://quickcall.firstcontact.be and select ‘Services’ and then ‘Destinations’ from the smaller menu buttons.
These direct dial numbers can also be used as a callback numbers with predefined destinations if you select the ‘Callback with all predefined access numbers’ option for your registered phone number (login to your account at https://quickcall.firstcontact.be and go to ‘Services’ and ‘My phones’ to see the option).
